2nd POLISH NATIONAL ECONOMIC EXHIBITION OPENS IN BAKU
The second Polish national economic exhibition opened in Baku on Wednesday.
Speaking at the event, Polish Minister of Economy, Piotr Wozniak, said there is a huge potential to increase trade between Poland and Azerbaijan.
He stressed the exhibition, which brings together over forty Polish companies, is another step towards strengthening the two countries` economic cooperation.
“Most Polish companies are participating in the exhibition for the first time. And it demonstrates our country’s growing interest towards Azerbaijani market. I believe the number of participants will increase for the next exhibition”, the Polish Minister noted.
Azeri Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Mikayil Jabbarov, said Azerbaijan-Poland relations have noticeably developed in the fields of politics, economy and culture for the past few years.
Jabbarov noted Poland is Azerbaijan`s strategic partner in Central and South Europe.
Other speakers at the event included Polish Deputy Minister of Agriculture Jan Ardanovsky, Head of the board of directors of the Polish Industrial Chamber`s Support Center Bojna Vrublevska and Polish Ambassador in Baku Krzysztof Krajewski
The exhibition will end on Thursday.
