5th Azerbaijan International Insurance Forum kicks off in Baku
Baku, June 19 (AZERTAC). The 5th Azerbaijan International Insurance Forum has started in Baku, brining together representatives of more than 250 local and foreign companies, experts from the UK, Germany, Belgium, France, Germany, Turkey and Russia.
The forum provides a platform for discussing ongoing processes on the insurance market both in Azerbaijan, the region and the world.
Opening the forum, Azerbaijani finance minister Samir Sharifov stressed the importance of the event in terms of finding solution to common problems and discussing cooperation prospects.
Chairman of the Economic Policy Committee at the Azerbaijani parliament Ziyad Samadzade hailed the agenda of the forum, saying it featured the issues “which are of great importance to the insurance market”.
The two-day forum will hear reports on a range of issues, including medical insurance, reinsurance, life insurance, automobile insurance, risk management, and natural disaster insurance.
