EX-PRESIDENT OF GEORGIA EDUARD SHEVARDNADZE TOOK PART AT THE FUNERAL CEREMONY OF PRESIDENT HEYDAR ALIYEV
On 15 December, Ex-President of Georgia Eduard Shevardnadze arrived in Baku to take part at the funeral ceremony of President Heydar Aliyev
At Bina airport, Eduard Shevardnadze was greeted by the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizadeh.
Talking to the journalists, Ex-President of Georgia said that “death of President Heydar Aliyev is not only the loss of Azerbaijan, it is the loss of the Caucasus countries, as well as of the world”. “I was deeply grieved upon hearing the news on his demise. He had many projects to be realized. I hope hose projects will be realized”, he stressed.
