Azerbaijan's health tourism potential showcased at international summit

The Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) is participating in the “Healthxchange Summit 2026” event organized in Varna, Bulgaria.
According to the State Tourism Agency, the summit is considered one of Europe's leading platforms for health and spa tourism, bringing together government agencies, tourism organizations, medical and recreational industry representatives, and international experts. The event features discussions on new trends in health tourism, innovative approaches, and opportunities for international cooperation.
As part of the summit, Teymur Suleymanzade, Deputy CEO of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, participated in various panel sessions and bilateral meetings to present Azerbaijan's health and medical tourism potential to international partners.
As part of the visit, the Azerbaijan Tourism Board joined the European Spas Association (ESPA) as an advisory member.
The membership aims to expand international cooperation in health tourism, promote the exchange of best practices, and foster new partnerships.
The exhibition will run until May 13.
