Shusha, April 15, AZERTAC
Majnun Mammadov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Agriculture, called on the Latvian investors to benefit from the favorable opportunities offered by the Azerbaijani economic zones as he addressed the 9th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Latvia Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific-Technical, and Cultural Cooperation held in Shusha.
“Azerbaijan’s strategic geographical location offers significant advantages for facilitating trade not only between Azerbaijan and Latvia, but also with the third-country markets. As a major transport and logistics hub in Eurasia, Azerbaijan boasts a modern infrastructure linking significant East-West and North-South corridors. In particular, the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route - Middle Corridor is a reliable and efficient route connecting Europe with Central Asia and China. We invite our Latvian partners to explore the opportunities offered by this corridor,” he noted.
The minister underscored that Latvia's experience in animal husbandry, dairy production, and forestry creates ample opportunities for collaboration.
