As reported, a group of members of the All-Russia Azerbaijanis Congress (AAC) have arrived in Baku to mark the 85th birth anniversary of the nationwide leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.

On May 9, president of AAC, Mammad Aliyev, Vice-presidents Araz Agalarov, Iskandar Khalilov and heads of the regional offices of AAC visited the Alley of Honors in Baku to revere memory of the Great Leader and laid a wreath on his tomb.

Activists of AAC also laid flowers on the grave of Academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

Afterwards, the AAC activists held at the Baku’s Park-Inn Hotel a meeting dedicated to the role of the Great Leader in establishment of Diaspora, his efforts and support rendered to this important activity.
