AMENDMENTS AND SUPPLEMENTS TO TAX CODE COVER FIVE AREAS

The law “On Amendments and Supplements to the Tax Code of Azerbaijan Republic” has come into force on January 1, 2008. Amendments envisage changes in five areas.

9 amendments are related to development of tax policy, 14 to expansion of rights of tax payers, 22 to improvement of tax administration, 22 to drafting changes and 10 to increase of effectiveness of the tax control.
