In the American cities it is possible to meet frequently very much people walking with animals. As the correspondent of AzerTAj informs, majority of these people are not owners of animals, and simply walk with them. This work is a source of their income.

Adele Dennis is engaged in this business during 13 years, and daily walks with about 15 dogs and cats. She says that cost of single walk with an animal is 15 dollars. Sometimes, when their owners leave city and for the night leave their four-footed friends to Adele. In this case, the payment for service for one night makes 50 dollars.

According to statistics, the USA on number of domestic dogs and cats win first place in the world. And if is more exact, in this country the number of pets makes 140 million. 78 million of them are cats. And among the others, there are not only dogs, but also exotic animals.

The owner of the company «Friends Of Feathery» in the Northern Carolina state Richard Parsons raises rare birds. He says: « In my opinion, Americans in comparison with other nations concern to pets more seriously. Probably, we have the best conditions and convenience. I have such clients who hold about 50 birds. Some people are ready to pay for one bird of 30 thousand dollars. And for birds they annually spend 3 thousand dollars for meal. As nuts, which like feathery, cost very expensive. Amateurs of birds fanatically concern to the pets».

The United States is not only the largest consumer of products for pets, but also its largest producer. Americans annually spend about 30 billion dollars for feed for animals, care of them.

Laws the USA protect rights of animals. According to the current legislation cruel treatment with animals is forbidden. The persons left animals without supervision in public places or showing violence over them are involved to response or are fined.

Care of animals provides also cleanliness of the environment. Officials of city authority recommend owners of pets to keep clean places where their four-footed friends are walked. Not observing these conditions should pay the penalty at a rate of 100 dollars.

In the USA, children from early age learn to care of animals. Tens thousand kids by means of special curriculums study in the reference with animals. The similar attitude causes benevolent feelings, love and care in heart of children. And it is the qualities always necessary in life.
