ANADOLU AGENCY TURNS 84
At the ceremony, the letters of congratulations of President of Turkey Ahmet Necdet Sezer and Prime Minister Recep Teyyip Erdogan were read out.
Secretary General of “Anadolu Agency” Hilmi Bengi made speech. He noted that within past 84 years, the Agency had expanded its activity, passed the impetuous way of development of more accurate and operative bringing of information into world community’s notice. Today, branches of Agency are functioning in 33 countries of world. The Agency daily disseminates 700 news and 250 photos. Economic news center was created in the Agency 20 years ago as well.
Then, Minister of Information of Turkey Bashir Satalay took floor. He noted that government would render any assistance for further expansion of activity of “Anadolu Agency”.
