Armenian raiding party attempted to cross line of contact with Azerbaijan

Baku, January 22 (AZERTAC). The situation on the contact line between Azerbaijan and Armenia remains tense as a raiding party of the Armenian Armed Forces attempted to cross the line of contact with Azerbaijan and shattered ceasefire a total of 50 times throughout the day, Azerbaijan`s Defence Ministry said.

The ceasefire was violated in nameless hills of Aghdam and Kokhanabi villages in Tovuz region, Ashagi Seyidahmadli and Ashagi Veysalli villages in Fuzuli region, Marzili, Yusifjanli, Javahirli, Bash Garvand and Shikhlar villages in Aghdam region, Chayli and Chilaburt villages in Tartar region, Kuropatkino village in Khojavand region and nameless hills of Tap Garagoyunlu village in Goranboy region on January 21-22.

The Armenians were silenced with a retail fire, the Defence Ministry said.
