A Conference entitled “Heydar Aliyev and Ataturk - Eternal Leaders of the Turkish World commenced at the Ataturk Center on 17 July. Deputies of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey participated in the event.

According to Director of the Center, the Milli Majlis Deputy, Corresponding member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Nizami Jafarov, the participants of the event would discuss a number of problems of the modern period including those the women of Azerbaijan, Turkey and all the Turkish world face with.

The deputies of the Milli Majlis and the Grand National Assembly of Turkey expressed hope that in the light of the ever-expanding all-sided relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the cooperation between women-politicians would also bring great benefit to both countries.

The Conference will be lasting till 21 July.
