Azerbaijan's gas transportation dominated by BTC with 75% share

In January-February 2024, the main pipelines in Azerbaijan transported over 6 million tons of oil, with the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline carrying over 4.7 million tons, constituting 74.9 percent of the total volume. Of the oil transported by the BTC pipeline during this period, 82.2 percent (3,882,200 tons) originated from Azerbaijan, while 17.8 percent (842,900 tons) came from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
