Baku, May 21 (AZERTAC). Co-chair of Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation, Azerbaijan`s Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev met Krimbek Kushirbayev, governor of Mingastau oblast of Kazakhstan.

Mr. Kushirbayev said his country is keen to develop close cooperation with Azerbaijan in energy sector. He said Kazakhstan intends to use experience of Azerbaijan in implementation of the oil and gas projects and to transport Kazakh energy resources to Europe via Azerbaijan.

There is a huge potential to increase bilateral trade turnover to one billion dollar, said governor.

Natig Aliyev praised relations between the two countries in oil and gas, machine-building, agriculture and other fields. He said Azerbaijan is ready to do every possible to transport Kazakh energy resources to Europe. Minister expressed his confidence a business forum, which is to take place in Aktau with participation of Azerbaijani businessmen to give impetus to developing all round cooperation.
