AZERBAIJAN, AUSTRIA: FOREIGN MINISTRIES HOLD POLITICAL CONSULTATIONS
Deputy foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Austria held political consultations in Vienna, May 6.
Araz Azimov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan and Dr. Johannes Paul Kyrle, Secretary General to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Austria headed the delegations in consultations.
In meeting, discussed were the regional projects initiated and joined by Azerbaijan, the energy questions, prospects of Nabukko gas main project, the importance of Azerbaijan in ensuring energy safety of Europe, Azerbaijan`s integration to Europe and issues of cooperation in the frame of New European Neighborhood Policy. The forthcoming visit of Dr. Johannes Paul Kyrle to Azerbaijan was also focused on.
Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Austria Fuad Ismayilov and the Austrian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Marius Calligaris took part in the consultations.
