Azerbaijan, Bulgaria explore strategic partnership

Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with his Bulgarian counterpart Ivan Kondov on the margins of the high-level week of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the ongoing relations of strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria, as well as the regional and international security situation.
The two hailed the political, economic, energy, transport and communications, humanitarian and other aspects of partnership between the two countries.
They emphasized that energy security projects strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation even more.
The parties stressed the importance of mutual support and cooperation within regional and international organizations.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov highlighted the current situation and realities in the region during the post-conflict period.
He informed Kondov about Azerbaijan`s hosting of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
