Azerbaijan, China discuss cooperation
Baku, February 11 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan and China have explored ways of developing cooperation as the country`s Deputy Prime Minister, Executive Secretary and Deputy Chairman of New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov has met Vice Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Zhou Li.
Mr. Ahmadov said Azerbaijan was interested in developing relations with China in all areas.
He noted reciprocal visits of representatives of the Azerbaijani and Chinese ruling parties would contribute to developing ties between the two countries.
The Deputy Premier said Azerbaijan was keeping up efforts to develop political relations and deepen economic cooperation with China.
Mr. Ahmadov also highlighted Azerbaijan`s economic achievements.
Mr. Li conveyed greetings of the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Xi Jinping to President Ilham Aliyev.
He hailed relations between the two countries as very good, saying “these bonds were built on the foundations of friendship and mutual cooperation”.
Mr. Li also said there was great potential for further developing relations between the two countries.
Azerbaijani ambassador to China Latif Gandilov, Deputy Executive Secretaries of New Azerbaijan Party Mubariz Gurbanli and Siyavush Novruzov were also present at the meeting.
