Azerbaijan claim 10 more medals as Golden Grand Prix Final ends
Baku, July 27 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers have claimed a total of 10 medals, including four golds, on the last day of the Golden Grand Prix Final in Baku.
The gold medals came from Taleh Mammadov (59 kg), Hasan Aliyev (66 kg), Rafig Huseynov (75 kg) and Elvin Mursaliyev (80 kg).
Rasul Chunayev (71 kg), Saman Tahmasibi (85 kg) and Sabah Shariati (130 kg) grabbed silver medals, while Kamran Mammadov (59 kg), Rustam Aliyev (71 kg) and Shalva Gadabadze (98 kg) took bronzes.
Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers claimed a clutch of three golds, three silvers and seven bronzes. In the women`s event, Azerbaijan won two golds.
