AZERBAIJAN HAS FAVORABLE INVESTMENT ENVIRONMENT
Azerbaijan`s government is pursuing the Open Door policy in order to attract more foreign investments, the country`s ministry of economic development said.
The country is making every effort towards protecting the rights of investors and creating equal conditions for local and foreign businessmen, the ministry said.
According to the ministry, the country signed agreements to avoid double taxation with a number of countries.
The ministry said the volume of investments placed in the country`s economy in 2006 was 8 billion dollars.
