Azerbaijan joins UN Public Service Forum in Tbilisi

A delegation led by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited Tbilisi, Georgia, to participate in the United Nations Public Service Forum.
First, the Chairman of the State Agency visited a monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Tbilisi and paid tribute to his memory.
Subsequently, Ulvi Mehdiyev attended the opening ceremony of the UN Public Service Forum.
Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Li Junhua, and high-level officials from various countries attended the forum, titled "Transforming Public Institutions: Advancing Innovation, Participation, and Inclusion."
Ulvi Mehdiyev held bilateral meetings with ministers from relevant sectors of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, as well as with the Minister of Justice of Georgia, on the sidelines of the forum.
During the meetings with representatives of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, Ulvi Mehdiyev made a comprehensive presentation on the activities and achievements of ASAN Khidmat. Both sides expressed their intention to implement Azerbaijan’s ASAN Khidmat model in their countries.
At the meeting with the Minister of Justice of Georgia, Ulvi Mehdiyev congratulated him on the successful organization of the forum.
The sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
