Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan discuss prospects for cooperation
Bishkek, June 25 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Hidayat Orujov has met Bishkek Mayor Kubanychbek Kulmatov to discuss prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The Azerbaijani ambassador said the bilateral ties between the two countries had been developing successfully on all fronts.
He noted that the two countries` presidents were interested in expanding bilateral relationship.
Kulmatov said Azerbaijani and Kyrgyz peoples were friendly and fraternal nations and noted there was no any obstacle to expand the bilateral relations.
He noted that the signing of a draft agreement on the development of the cooperation between Baku and Bishkek would contribute to boosting relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.
They also discussed the issue of the construction of a park after national leader Heydar Aliyev in Bishkek.
Bishkek architect Bakitbek Abdiyev and head of the International Relations Department of the Bishkek city Authorities Ermek Janat were also present at the meeting.
