Azerbaijan, Latvia hail opportunities for expanding economic cooperation

Baku, July 16, AZERTAC

Azerbaijan and Latvia have pointed out wide opportunities for economic cooperation as Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has met with Latvian Minister of Agriculture Kaspars Gerhards.

They said there are ample opportunities for participation of Latvian companies in restoration and reconstruction of Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, including in the projects implemented in "Araz Valley Economic Zone" and Aghdam industrial parks, Alat Free Economic Zone, as well as for cooperation between the two countries in agriculture, digital economy, as well as other economic sectors.

The sides also discussed the current state of economic and trade relations, and the directions of expanding partnership.
