Anar Akhundov, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Economy, met with Armands Krauze, Minister of Agriculture of Latvia, Co-chair of the Azerbaijan-Latvia Intergovernmental commission.

The officials underscored the importance of reciprocal visits and bilateral meetings in enhancing bilateral relations.

Noting that the diversification of economic and trade relations is one of the key items on the bilateral economic agenda, the sides mentioned that various steps are undertaken to advance cooperation on this track. They praised the Intergovernmental Commission as an effective platform.

The sides explored opportunities for furthering cooperation across various economic domains, including agriculture, water management, and forestry.
