Azerbaijan, Mexico discuss bilateral relations
Baku, January 14 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov has today met a Mexican delegation led by Chair of the Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee Gabriela Cuevas Barron to discuss bilateral relations.
The Deputy FM noted that Azerbaijan attached great importance to development of relations with the Latin American countries, including Mexico.
He also said there were ample opportunities for deepening cooperation between the two countries.
Deputy Minister Khalaf Khalafov hailed the current state of the bilateral ties, and stressed the important role of the interparliamentary relations in development of the cooperation.
Khalaf Khalafov also praised the documents adopted by the Mexican Senate on the Khojaly massacre and the Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan.
Gabriela Cuevas Barron hailed Azerbaijan’s achievements over the past 10 years.
They also discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation in economic, cultural, tourism, humanitarian, and energy fields, as well as exchange of the experience.
