Azerbaijan participates in UN Public Service Forum in Georgia

The United Nations Public Service Forum officially opened in Tbilisi, Georgia, bringing together around 500 delegates from nearly 100 countries.
Azerbaijan is represented at the forum by the leadership of the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
“The forum serves as a platform for presenting the UN Public Service Awards, which are granted every two years. A year ago, Azerbaijan submitted an initiative on accessible and inclusive state social protection services for all. The SSPF’s initiative covers three key areas: the provision of proactive social protection services through the digitalization of state social protection services, the delivery of these services to citizens, and the introduction of a centralized organizational model within the Fund,” Chairman of the Board of the State Social Protection Fund Zaka Mirzayev told AZERTAC.
He noted that Azerbaijan is actively participating in discussions, panel sessions, and seminars within the forum across all three areas, adding that the country’s initiative has received high recognition from participants.
Zaka Mirzayev also emphasized that Azerbaijan has successfully implemented measures related to the introduction of electronic services and the transition to proactive service delivery, achieving significant results in this field.
