Azerbaijan, Romania seek closer cooperation in media

Azerbaijan’s Media Development Agency hosted a meeting with the participation of Azerbaijani Ambassador to Romania Gudsi Osmanov and a visiting delegation led by Cristian Augustin Niculescu-Țâgârlaș, Chair of the Romanian Senate’s Committee on Culture and Media, and member of the Romania-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group.
Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, noted the steady development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Romania across various fields. He also emphasized the importance of expanding partnerships in media.
Ismet Sattarov, Chairman of the Audiovisual Council, highlighted existing international cooperation in audiovisual media and underlined the need for experience sharing and joint projects in this area.
Cristian Augustin Niculescu-Țâgârlaș stressed the significance of promoting the exchange of experience and resources, as well as implementing joint initiatives to combat disinformation and enhance media literacy.
