Azerbaijan, Sweden discuss prospects for cooperation
Baku, November 20 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani ambassador to Sweden Adish Mammadov has met Speaker of the Swedish Parliament Per Westerberg to discuss relations between the two countries, as well as Azerbaijan`s integration into Europe.
The Azerbaijani ambassador spoke about Azerbaijan`s role in the European energy security, as well as its participation in projects of international importance.
Mammadov also provided an insight into the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and Azerbaijan`s position on the dispute. He stressed the importance of active participation of international organizations in the process of finding a solution to the problem.
The Speaker of the Swedish Parliament noted the significance of expanding the Azerbaijan-Europe relations.
