Azerbaijan through the Lens photography exhibition opens in Bratislava
Vienna, April 9 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan through the Lens photography exhibition has been launched in Bratislava, Slovakia, organized by the European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS).
Held at the Slovak Ministry of Culture, the opening of the exhibition was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps in Bratislava, local residents and art lovers.
Speakers at the event included State Secretary at the Slovak Ministry of Culture Ivan Secik, Azerbaijan`s Consul general in Slovakia Jalal Gasymov, Azerbaijani MP Asim Mollazade, and head of TEAS Belgium Roman Huna. They said that following the successful Azerbaijan Through the Lens exhibitions in London, Paris, Berlin, Brussels and Istanbul, featuring photographs from TEAS` photography competition of the same name, the Slovak audience now had a chance to admire these striking images.
The exhibition features photographs reflecting Azerbaijan`s history, culture, everyday life, the people`s hospitality and tolerance in the country.
The five day exhibition is organized by TEAS under the auspices of the Slovak Ministry of Culture.
