Beijing, November 4, AZERTAC
An Azerbaijani delegation will participate in the 2024 China International Import Expo (CIIE), scheduled for November 5-10 in Shanghai, marking the seventh edition of this influential event.
The primary goal of the CIIE, held under the initiative and patronage of Chinese President Xi Jinping, is to facilitate the entry of foreign products and services into China by providing a vital platform for companies to connect with Chinese businesses and professional buyers.
As China’s foremost expo dedicated to imports, it continues to attract global attention, offering unparalleled opportunities for foreign companies seeking to tap into one of the largest consumer markets in the world. Over the years, the CIIE has established itself as a crucial venue for businesses from around the globe to showcase their products and services, forge partnerships, and strike lucrative deals. Its importance in facilitating international trade cannot be overstated, especially for companies looking to establish or expand their footprint in China’s rapidly evolving marketplace.
Nearly 3,500 participants from 152 countries and international organizations, including 297 companies from the Fortune Global 500, will participate in the Shanghai Expo.
Held annually in Shanghai, the expo spans six key sectors: food and agriculture, automobiles, intelligent industry and IT, consumer goods, medical equipment, and trade in services. Each year, the expo serves as a launchpad for showcasing innovative products and technologies.
