Azerbaijan, UK Entrust company explore cooperation in digital sector

As part of his visit to the United Kingdom, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with representatives of Entrust, a global technology company specializing in digital identification, electronic signatures, and cryptographic technologies.
During the meeting, the parties explored potential opportunities for cooperation in the digital sector, as well as the current state and future prospects of collaboration.
The UK delegation were briefed on the initiatives implemented to enhance Azerbaijan’s national digital identification, electronic signature, and cybersecurity infrastructure within the country’s digital transformation and artificial intelligence strategy.
The meeting concluded with signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Entrust and AzInTelecom.
