Azerbaijan, UK explore enhancing cooperation in science, innovation, and technology

Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, met with Baroness Lloyd, UK’s Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
The sides reviewed a new stage of the Azerbaijan-UK strategic partnership, particularly the opportunities for enhancing cooperation in artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
They also exchanged views on fostering cooperation with the UK universities in human capital development through joint programs, scholarships, and digital academies, as well as investment in AI data centers.
