Azerbaijan, Ukraine discuss cooperation

Kiev, June 20 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan and Ukraine have discussed cooperation as ambassador Eynulla Madatli met incoming governor of the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration Sidor Kizin.

The ambassador’s visit to Zhytomyr was aimed at getting familiar with the new governor, introducing heads of the central and local organizations of the Azerbaijani diaspora, and attend the opening of the Zhytomyr office of the United Diaspora of Ukrainian Azerbaijanis (UDUA).

They discussed bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, as well as regions of the two countries.

The Zhytomyr governor praised prospects for developing Ukraine-Azerbaijan cooperation.

He said Azerbaijan was one of the leading energy suppliers in the world.

The Zhytomyr governor praised the Azerbaijani diaspora`s role in the social live of Ukraine, and stressed the importance of the opening of the Zhytomyr office of the diaspora.
