Azerbaijan, Universal Postal Union discuss prospects for expanding cooperation

Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, met with Marjan Osvald, Deputy Director General of the Universal Postal Union(UPU).
"We have met with the UPU Deputy Director General and exchanged views on expanding cooperation with the UPU. We also discussed the development of e-commerce and postal transportation," the minister said.
“We have submitted Azerbaijan’s candidacy for the membership in the Council of Administration and the Postal Operations Council of the UPU. The elections will be held within the 28th UPU Congress on September 7-19 this year in Dubai,” Minister Nabiyev added.
