Azerbaijan, Vietnam discuss cooperation prospects

Baku, April 12 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan and Vietnam have explored ways of developing the bilateral cooperation as Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov met a Vietnamese delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Phuong Nga.

Mammadyarov hailed the bilateral cooperation. He underlined the importance of strengthening legal base and increasing mutual visits in terms of expanding the bilateral ties. The Foreign Minister the visit would give a boost to the Azerbaijan-Vietnam cooperation. He invited the Vietnamese Foreign Minister to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan.

Vietnam`s Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Phuong Nga pointed out to huge opportunities for bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Vietnam, adding his country was determined to develop cooperation between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic and Petro Vietnam Oil Company.

On behalf of Vietnamese Foreign Minister, Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Phuong Nga invited Minister Elmar Mammadyarov to pay an official visit to Vietnam.
