Azerbaijan, Vietnam discuss tourism cooperation

As part of a working visit to Hanoi, a delegation from the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau under the State Tourism Agency held meetings with Vietnamese tourism authorities.
In partnership with the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Vietnam and the Hanoi College of Commerce and Tourism, the Bureau hosted a joint event to showcase Azerbaijan’s tourism potential and explore prospects for cooperation.
The event, attended by Florian Sengstschmid, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau, and Ambassador Shovgi Mehdizada, featured discussions on experience exchange and opportunities for bilateral collaboration. Representatives of diplomatic missions, tourism industry professionals, travel agencies, and students also participated.
The delegation also held meetings with the leadership of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration and VietJet Air, discussing future cooperation in the field of tourism.
Earlier, on September 4-6, the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau, together with its partners, presented the country’s tourism potential at the 19th International Travel Expo (ITE HCMC) in Ho Chi Minh City.
