Azerbaijani ambassador meets Kyrgyz Deputy Prime Minister

Bishkek, August 17 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Hidayat Orujov has met Deputy Prime Minister of the country Elvira Sariyeva.

Orujov congratulated Sariyeva on her new appointment, and wished her success. The Deputy PM expressed confidence that successful cooperation between the two countries would continue to develop.

She hailed relations between the two countries, describing them as “brotherhood”. Sariyeva informed the ambassador on the World Games of Nomads to be held in Cholpon-Ata city on September 8-14.

The Ambassador noted that a 40-man delegation from Azerbaijan would attend the Games. The Diplomat said Baku would host the 2nd meeting of Joint Intergovernmental Commission on economic and humanitarian cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.

He also said Azerbaijan Airlines would launch regular direct flights on Baku-Bishkek-Baku route from October, adding the airline would contribute to expanding economic and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
