Azerbaijani ambassador meets Tajik Interior Minister
Baku, August 7 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani ambassador to Tajikistan Abbasali Hasanov has met Minister of Internal Affairs of the country Ramazon Rakhimzoda.
They hailed the role of the two countries` presidents in the development of the intergovernmental relations.
They stressed the importance of holding the regular meetings between the ministers of Internal Affairs of both countries, as well as expanding the information and experience exchange.
The sides noted that Azerbaijan and Tajikistan were successfully cooperating within international organizations.
Hasanov highlighted future events, including an Azerbaijani-Tajik business forum, an exhibition of Azerbaijani industry products and the 3rd meeting of the Azerbaijani-Tajik intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation.
The ambassador briefed the Minister on the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The diplomat said the dispute had negatively impeded the development of the region.
