Azerbaijani ambassador presents credentials to President of Republic of Korea
Seoul, August 9 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani ambassador to the Republic of Korea Ramzi Teymurov has handed over his credentials to President Park Geun-hye.
Teymurov conveyed Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev`s greetings and best wishes to President Park Geun-hye.
Mrs. Park Geun-hye also asked the diplomat to pass on her greetings to the Azerbaijani President.
The ambassador said Azerbaijan attached great importance to developing relations with the Republic of Korea. He described South Korea as an important partner of Azerbaijan in the Asian region.
The South Korean President noted that her country also attached great importance to expanding ties with Azerbaijan. She said the Korean companies were actively participating in the implementation of projects in Azerbaijan. Mrs. Park Geun-hye noted that they were interested in continuing mutual cooperation.
They also discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of economy and politics.
