AZERBAIJANI CHESS PLAYER WINS INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT IN IRAN

Baku, December 16 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani chess player Farid Abbasov has become a winner in the 3rd international tournament in Urmiya, Iran, after garnering 7.5 points in 9 games.

Other Azerbaijani players Vugar Rasulov and Vasif Durarbeyli took fifth and eighth spots respectively.
