Azerbaijani chess players to compete in Abu Dhabi International Festival
Baku, August 19 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani players Nijat Abbasov, Vugar Rasulov and Ulvi Bajarani will vie for medals in the 21st Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival.
Abu Dhabi chess and Culture Club organizes this event in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Sport Council. Abu Dhabi chess and Culture Club monitors the tournament making sure it’s in line with the FIDE chess rules and regulations.
Over 400 chess players from 42 countries are slated to take part in the championship headed by a stellar line-up of UAE’s best. With top players from Asia, Africa and the world in contention the tournament will have the Masters Series, Open championship, Junior and Blitz among other categories.
