Azerbaijani delegation attends conference on 20th anniversary of Belarus Constitutional Court

Baku, July 1 (AZERTAC). A delegation led by chairman of Azerbaijan`s Constitutional Court, Farhad Abdullayev, has visited Minsk, Belarus, to attend an international conference marking the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Belarus Constitutional Court.

Called “Constitutional governance: modern tendencies of development and improvement”, the conference was attended by chairmen and judges of constitutional courts of more than 10 countries.

It heard a congratulatory message from Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko.

The conference mainly focused on constitutional governance and modern tendencies of its development and improvement.

Farhad Abdullayev addressed the conference to highlight legal reforms and measures to improve justice system in the country.

On the sidelines of the visit the constitutional courts of Azerbaijan and Belarus discussed prospects for cooperation.
