AZERBAIJANI DELEGATION ATTENDS EUROPEAN PRIZES CEREMONY IN VIENNA
Azerbaijani delegation led by rector of Azerbaijan State Economic University, Chairman of Milli Majlis Standing Commission for Science and Education Shamsaddin Hajiyev attended the «European Prizes Ceremony» in Vienna, Austria. The event organized by the European Business Assembly (EBA) brought together delegates from over 40 countries.
Addressing the meeting, Mr. Hajiyev told of reforms being successfully implemented in the field of economy and education of Azerbaijan Republic.
Shamsaddin Hajiyev was awarded with the highest prize «Queen Victoria» founded by EBA and Club of the Rectors of Europe (CRE). Mr. Hajiyev also became a member of the CRE and the honorary doctor of Vienna’s International University.
During the visit, Azerbaijani delegation also met with pro-rector of Vienna Economic University.
Mr. Hajiyev informed about Azerbaijani State Economic University (ASEU), its cooperation with the leading world Universities. He underlined that ASEU has joined the Bologna process in 2001.
The sides shared views on other issues of mutual interest.
