Baku, June 2 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani MPs Sahiba Gafarova and Rafael Huseynov will attend the committee meetings of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in Paris, France.

MP Sahiba Gafarova will participate at the Equality and Non-Discrimination Committee’s meeting, to be held on June 2. The meeting`s agenda will include hearings on “The situation of women in emerging democracies following the Arab revolutions”, “Equality and inclusion for people with disabilities”, “Focusing on the perpetrators to prevent violence against women”, “Equality and non-discrimination in the access to justice” and others.

MP Rafael Huseynov will participate at the Culture, Science, Education and Media Committee’s meeting to be held on June 4. The meeting will discuss issues on “Towards a European framework of competences for democratic citizenship, human rights and intercultural dialogue”, “Libraries and museums in an era of participatory culture”, “Culture preservation in crisis and post-crisis situations”, “Student mobility” and others.

Azerbaijani deputy is expected to report on the theme “Freedom of religion and religious practices”.
