Azerbaijani deputy appointed CoE rapporteur
Paris, March 13 (AZERTAC). One of the issues submitted for consideration at the session of the PACE committee for culture, science, education and media was appointment of new rapporteurs for the topics recommended by the PACE Bureau.
Appointment of a rapporteur for Religious Freedom and Religious Practices sparked heated debates.
Member of the Azerbaijani delegation to the PACE Rafael Huseynov was elected the rapportuer for religious freedom and religious practices by gaining vast majority of votes.
Huseynov is going to deliver his another report at the PACE spring session on April 7.
