Azerbaijani Deputy FM meets Belarus counterpart
Baku, June 19 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalaf Khalafov has met First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Alexander Mikhnevich.
Khalaf Khalafov noted the importance of consultations between the foreign ministries of both countries and praised the current state of the bilateral relations.
He also stressed the necessity of strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus in the economic, humanitarian, educational and cultural fields, as well as within international organizations.
Khalafov said Azerbaijan attached great importance to the development of regional relations and stressed the importance of development of bilateral and multilateral dialogues in this area.
On the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as the negotiations process, the Deputy FM said the problem still remains unresolved as Armenia does not put an end to its aggressive policy and not liberate the Azerbaijani lands.
Alexander Mikhnevich also hailed the dynamic development of relations between the two countries and the level of cooperation within international organizations. He stressed the importance of boosting regional cooperation.
