AZERBAIJANI DIPLOMATS LEARN OF IDPS’ PLIGHT

To immediately learn of the situation of IDPs, heads of diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan in foreign countries have visited encampments in Galagayin town. Deputy Prime Minister, chairman of the State Committee for refugee and IDP affairs Ali Hasanov noted that the visit is initiated by President Ilham Aliyev. The ambassadors will learn of the situation at the place in order to later bring the truth of their plight to the world community. Ali Hasanov said that President constantly keeps refugees’ plight in the focus of his attention and does absolute best to improve the situation.

Internally displaced people expressed their confidence that President’s efforts to settle Nagorno-Karabakh conflict would bring good results.

Diplomats watched the photos kept in the museum at the former encampment in Bilasuvar. Then, they held a meeting with refugees in the club No3, and visited secondary school.
