Azerbaijani embassy hosts iftar dinner for orphans in Malaysia

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Malaysia, in partnership with the “Srikandi Gombak” charity organization, hosted an iftar dinner for single mothers and orphans residing in the Rawang township of Malaysia's Selangor state.
Addressing the event, Malaysian officials emphasized the importance of such actions, expressing their gratitude to Azerbaijan for hosting the iftar dinner and providing food aid.
Embassy Counselor Sarkhan Ismayilov emphasized that the holy month of Ramadan instills compassion, kindness, and numerous good deeds. The diplomat highlighted the importance attached to the month of Ramadan in Azerbaijan and spoke about the noble virtues it contains, as well as the attention paid by President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva to promoting the universal values of Islam both within the country and throughout the world.
