The story revolves around a village`s residents who are forced to leave their homes because of an ongoing war. But an old woman refuses to leave her family members buried in the village.
Venice International Film Festival is the oldest international film festival, founded in 1932 on the initiative of Benito Mussolini. The festival has been held annually on the island of Lido since 1934.
The aim of the Festival is to raise awareness and promote the various aspects of international cinema in all its forms: as art, entertainment and as an industry, in a spirit of freedom and dialogue. The Festival also organizes retrospectives and tributes to major figures as a contribution towards a better understanding of the history of cinema.
