Azerbaijani FM meets incoming Lithuanian Ambassador

Baku, August 26 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has today met newly appointed Ambassador of Lithuania to the country Valdas Lastauskas.

The Ambassador handed over a copy of his letter of credentials to Elmar Mammadyarov.

The FM congratulated Lastauskas on his new appointment, and wished him success in his activities.

Mammadyarov said relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania had been developing successfully on all fronts.

The diplomat noted that he would spare no efforts to contribute to expanding bilateral ties even further.

They also exchanged views on prospects for political, economic, cultural, humanitarian and scientific cooperation.
