Azerbaijani FM meets Mozambican Energy Minister
Baku, February 25 (AZERTAC). As part of his first official visit to Mozambique, Azerbaijan`s Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has met the country`s Minister of Energy Salvador Namburete.
Mammadyarov highlighted Azerbaijan`s economic development, as well as its successful energy strategy.
He also briefed the Mozambican Minister on Azerbaijan`s rich experience in the field of exploitation, processing and production of the energy resources.
Touching upon the prospects for cooperation in the field of energy, experience exchange and the training of specialists, the Azerbaijani FM stressed the necessity of establishing the legal base for the development of the bilateral relations.
Namburete noted Mozambique`s special interest in Azerbaijan`s experience in the field of oil and gas.
The Energy Minister also said they were interested in the preparation of Mozambican specialists and the organization of the qualification courses in Azerbaijan`s educational institutions in the field of oil and gas.
