Azerbaijani FM meets OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in Paris
Baku, March 11 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in Paris.
According to spokesman of the Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev, the meeting involved co-chairs Igor Popov of the Russian Federation, Jacques Faure of France, and James Warlick of the United States of America, as well as the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk.
The sides expressed concern over the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Minister Mammadyarov said Armenia's unconstructive position was impeding settlement of the conflict, progress of peace talks, and reestablishment of peace and stability in the region.
The Minister expressed Azerbaijan`s readiness to sign a comprehensive peace agreement. He said that for the improvement of peace process the Armenian armed forces had to withdraw from the occupied lands of Azerbaijan.
